I never took history in High school even though social sciences was what interested me. I have always been interested in artifacts and historically significant places and people but I really have never pursued these interests. My choice to take this Canadian History course was mainly because courses with Canadian History is required for the teaching program here at TRU. My idea of what a history class entails was lots of papers and lots of tests with questions on historical dates and people. I did not realize that this course would focus around the open idea of how through re examination and the difference of perspective could potentially change history. It was not until a couple weeks ago, in seminar, that I fully understood what it means to think historically. https://abstract.desktopnexus.com/wallpaper/37366/
